ooh, the clex, the CLEX!

So i'm watching the Smallville episode "Red Means Stop", the one where Clark's class ring makes him all whacked out (ellen called him 'butch').

OMG, the Clark/Lex scenes have Ellen and I in hysterics. When Clark even rolls in, in his crazy duster, and the camera pans up and down with Lex's eyes sloooooooowly and then is like "I didn't know backbones came with those coats". And then when he even shows up to ask Lex to run away to Metropolis with him?

"Clark Kent and Lex Luthor? Hmm, I like the sound of that."

Ellen was like "Watch Clark's eyes right here, as Lex goes by him...right...now...yup, there they go, right to the ass!"

*dies of the slash, not to mention Clark on a motorcycle*

I hear ya, sister!! Clex all the way, especially that episode is mighty slashy. Should be illegal, to make something so slashy, leading to such huge amounts of fangirling and drooling ;) *Hugs fellow Clex shipper*

PS: Clark on that bike is enough to make me go soft in the knees, too ;)

Dude... seriously check out http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com and go to the Smallville section. They do recaps of television shows, and it is hilarious.

The best part, though, about the Smallville ones, is that the recapper does something called the Gayest Look of The Episode (usually a Clark and Lex moment). Also, many many references to HoYay (Homoeroticism, Yay!).

hahaha, that site is brilliant! "Divers have gone to the depths of the ocean to uncover the lost treasure of HoYay, and opened the chest and it is full of rubies and sparklies!"

if i had known there was this much...i hesitate to call it 'subtext'...I would have been watching this much earlier. We also watched some interview with Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum afterwards, and they were so freaking adorable. At one point, Tom was doing this impression of Michael acting and making his little 'look i'm being serious' face, and we nearly died of the cute (and the intra-actor sexual tension).

In one of the eps in season one, Clark runs into the room where Lex is being threatened and screams "CLEX!"

It's true. I re-watched that part many times to make sure I wasn't halucinating. He very, very clearly screams "Clex."
