OMFG SQUEE. I HAVE BEEN FREED FROM THE UTTER CRAP THAT IS INTERNET EXPLORER.

*caresses the preccccciousssss firefox* it loads all my pages correctly! it plays neopets games! it tabs new pages in the same window! it does the LJ COMMENT DROPDOWN TRICK THAT EXPLORER NEVER EVER DID NOT ONCE HUZZAH.

Explorer, knowing the end was near, refused to load the firefox page. then refused to download it. and when i had tricked it by using versiontracker and then turned firefox on and was playing with it, i got the little 'internet explorer has unexpected quit' window.

if i suxxored half as bad as Explorer does, i would end it all too. I wouldn't even leave a helpful suicide note like that, probably.

the neopets thing was the clincher. I would have switched to safari ages ago, only it never did the flash games right, and i hate switching back and forth.

Did you get the AdBlock extension? It is the greatest part of Firefox.

Flash is so common now that you'd think Safari would be able to handle it, too.

i think it might come all bundled now? because its blocking stuff all on its own. I didn't even notice it until ellen pointed out that i wasn't getting the crazy pop-ups from adultfanfiction.net .

one would imagine, but it never worked quite right for me. of course i haven't tried it in months, so maybe it's been fixed since.
