After a solid week doing nothing but recoding the entire site and every single story, I bring to you:
The Rat Box
previously known as 'Dazzler's Domain'.
Happy second birthday to Sprunkers.com! Go click around, I'm pretty sure everything works but i've been at this for so long i can barely see. all the links should be the same, so if bookmarks or archive links aren't working, please tell me.
If you find a typo or a broken link, comment. Leave a prompt as well and you'll get a ficlet as a thank you.
olukemi,
fantomeq, and
sociofemme: Thanks so much for your help! You can request fic if you want as thanks, whatever fandom you want (you can count my NaNo as a fandom if you want *g*).

Date: 2005-01-29 06:45 pm (UTC)Jeff and I love Mulciber's page and the wood chip background.
Your trip to England looks fantastic. I love your commentary. Dude, Hadrian's wall! I would have sacrificed somebody on the Mithraean altar though.
Rat NaNo! More! :)

Date: 2005-01-29 07:39 pm (UTC)The link for "I'll take that under advisement" is broken, and the pairing for "Panicked" is wrong--it should be Remus/James on the index, not Remus/Harry.
Yay! It's SO PRETTY! I really love it a lot.
And if you'll write me some more Bruno/Boots, I'd be endlessly grateful! :D

Date: 2005-01-29 09:26 pm (UTC)England was awesome, I'd love to go back and just look at castles instead of doing pesky research projects.
nano, i know, i knew you were going to say that too. I think i'm going to stick the ending up flocked. And then, one day, perhaps I will edit.
but i'll come up with some extra, director's cut Adam/Steve just for you *g*

Date: 2005-01-29 09:29 pm (UTC)ooh, good luck! it's terrible, isn't it? it's so freaking tedious, especially when you write as much drabbley random crap as I do.
i hope yours goes well!

Date: 2005-01-29 09:34 pm (UTC)you're being thanked for financial contribution, if you wondered. Can I eat this cadbury cream egg here?
you might want to check out your site and see if everything is fine after greg's whole back up thing. If you have trouble getting your email or logging in, we'll talk about it, i had to futz with some settings.

Date: 2005-01-30 02:55 am (UTC)Nitpicky little things:
-On your "Original Work" page (fiction.html), did you intend to have both an essay about tattoos and an essay about your campus art? At the moment, the links to both of them go to art.html.
-The pictures in the sidebar of your "I have a story about that" section (stories.html and storiessnz.html) aren't showing up for me.
-Also, even for your non-HP fiction, the links at the bottom of the stories only point back to your essays page (fiction.html) and your HP fanfic page, not to the page that the stories came from.
Anyway, fabulous site!

Date: 2005-01-30 06:07 am (UTC)1. Oops. it was a poor coincidence that the tattoo editorial had art in the title, and filename of the thing before it was art. Fixed now.
2. that's because those used to be my navigation buttons before. To be honest, I forgot those stories were even up and just threw them back in at the last second. I just now made them look a little less horrific, but something will have to be done about them.
3. yeah...i know...i realized that about halfway through doing them, and was so sick of coding I couldn't bear to try and make a new template. I'll have to catch them on the next go-round.
thanks so much for the feedback! and glad you liked it. Want me to write something for you?

Date: 2005-01-30 06:12 am (UTC)yeah, nano, i know, for serious. Probably only a chapter or two will go up on the site before i start to edit it for real. I'm going to post the rest of it flocked i think, since various people have questioned the wisdom of posting it across the internet if i intend to do something real to it, even pre-editing.
and oh lord does there need to be editing.

Date: 2005-01-30 06:17 am (UTC)so much with the NaNo. Yeah, I only posted up to the rat fight. I'm trying to figure out how to manage the fact that I know people really want to read the end, but if i do want to try and get it published I shouldn't have the whole thing floating around my LJ.
Mulciber appreciates the fangirling. Or, maybe not so much appreciates as expects as no less than his due.

Date: 2005-01-30 10:22 am (UTC)And yay! NaNo! If you're uncomfortable about posting parts, you could, like post parts one at a time and put up a time limit for how long you'll leave it up. Like for only a fewdays or something before you delete the post.
