mousapelliA Rugrats marathon is on, you're missing it, Ellen! the best thing so far is when Grandpa said Madam Evil spent all her time taking other people's stuff and Angelica said "Wow, you mean when you're growed up you can get a JOB doin' that?!"
So Neopets just changed one of my guys again. Um, i think it's going to take a little getting used to.
I wish they'd warn us about this stuff!
And speaking of childish conversations, i had a good one with security earlier today. They coned off all the spaces behind my building yesterday to repaint lines. This morning the cones were still there, despite the fact that the signs said they'd be done on the 19th. I went to security to investigate:
Me: "So um, since it's no longer the 19th, can I or can I not park there?"
Security officer: "There are cones there, right?"
me: "yes, but all the signs say they should be done. I mean, the lines are repainted. How much more repainted can they get?"
security: "Let me call somebody. *uses phone* I've got someone here asking about the parking spaces... yeah... uh-huh... yeah. *hangs up phone* Are you moving in?"
me: "no, i live there."
security: "You can't park there."
me: "Until when?"
security: "They didn't say."
me: "Fine. But perhaps you should change your signs, because some people are already moving the cones and parking there."
security: "Well, they shouldn't be. It's off-limits."
me: "It's a security vehicle!"
Security: "...............oh."
Gah!
