mousapellii've been back in Vermont for less than three hours and i'm already taking it up the ass from UVM again.
not only does the website refuse to let me register for my classes, one of which begins monday, but upon paging through the little packet for my class monday, there's a little notice reporting that anyone wishing to complete their degree may wish to sign up for several classes summer 2004.
Yes, that's right, 2004. they can't even be bothered to fix the year on their letter while they admit they have been lying to my face about this certification taking a year.

It was obvious that he'd mostly recovered from the war, certainly, but the day before yesterday Yozak found him doing a strange dance in his bedroom, singing in a foreign language.
"You're going to deafen someone if you're not careful," Yozak said when he realized Conrad wasn't stopping otherwise. "And then quite a few people might decide to kill you out of sheer annoyance, and where would I be?"
"Avenging my death gloriously, I would hope," Conrad answered, finally letting up. They'd established years ago that he wasn't allowed to sing, but apparently some of the music from the other world was irresistable.
"I'd be too busy making sure that the blood from my eardrums exploding didn't ruin this very nice disguise, which I'll have you know almost got me killed earlier today."
Conrad noticed the uniform Yozak was wearing, but now he saw the wig in his hand and cocked an eyebrow. "You were walking anywhere near the castle while dressed as Gwendal? Did you suffer brain damage while I was gone or was there a legitimate purpose?"
Yozak grinned. "I just barely lost a drinking against that kitchen maid, Sangria, three nights ago. Now I know where her brother gets it." Removing the uniform's jacket, he lay down on Conrad's bed and stretched out. "So tell me about this song you were murdering when I walked in."
"It's about this girl named Billie Jean..."

more yelling will commence when Conrad attempts to sing to their daughter, and the only song he knows is this one.

I finish up this tour September 5th, but i'm not 100% sure when I'll be coming back--I have a couple leads on tours, and they're pretty much back-to-back. *shrugs* I don't know what's going on, really.
Hey, do you think you could do me a favor? *looks cute* Yuki needs a new cozy for his bad-ass 14-inch self. Mom commandeered Hedwig's case on the grounds that the new computer was too big for it. :(

also, i think your rat may have some kind of bug, he's itching his back fur thin in places. I'm going to try just giving him a bath, since i have no idea what it is. but perhaps you should show up to veternarize him at some point so that my rat doesn't get it.

Just, maybe I might get another couple months of high-paying work before the winter dead season sets in and I have to temp for peanuts for awhile. (well, I could go back to SFS, but then again, I could hit myself on the head repeatedly with a hammer and have about as much fun.) The more dosh I make now, the more fun we have this winter. :)
oh no! Poor Avery! Is it a new thing, or something that's been getting worse all summer? If it gets too much worse before Labor Day, can I get you to take him in and have them send me the bill? *frets*

Date: 2005-08-12 04:42 pm (UTC)well, i'm not sure. i mean, he's always had little scabs all over him (i think your rat is a cutter), and i don't see any bugs, but then again his fur is dark where's he's scratching, and there's little shiny bits that might be something or might just be his fur being shiny.
We're going to try bathing. if it doesn't go away in a few weeks, i guess i'll have to try something more drastic.
