I wish we were that open about it. But I know, without a doubt, that if I tell my parents what goes on with me on the internet, they would lock me away. Despite all their love and conviction that I am a good girl.

It's not so much that we have talked about it directly, although sometimes we do, as much as the recognition that my father and I are, at heart, essentially the same kind of person. That's what happens when mommy goes to work all day and leaves daddy in charge of the impressionable little girl!

but my mom, though, yeah, not so much with the internet knowledgeability.
