Me: "There's a yarn store on Mockingbird Lane."
Mom: "Where is it?"
Me: "...are you serious?"
Mom: "Oh, it's a joke! I get it! Ahahahaha!"
Me: "......are you fucking with me, NO, it's on Mockingbird Lane! Do you want the street number?!"
and then later:
Me: "Brock is really the best part about Venture Brothers."
Dad: "Is that Brock from your Space Ghost?"
Me: "No, Dad, that's Brak."
Dad: "Like Brak from that emperor movie?"
Me: "NO that's KRONK, you're getting closer only NOT AT ALL. Can I do something for you?"
Dad: "Sedate me."
