And if you should still find a blank spot on your walls somewhere, I think you should put a SMAP poster there, just for the heck of it.
Or maybe you should put SMAP into your bathroom, that would be an interesting experience. XDDD

My first year in college, I decided it'd be a great idea to print out my favorite manga scenes and tape them to the wall, until it was just a massive block on black and white. My roommate was very amused. For the first month, I couldn't get anything done without drifting off and looking at the wall, sighing "Oh, Hanazawa Rui. You are so pretty when you play your violin." XDD

Date: 2007-09-09 02:38 pm (UTC)You'll be amused (maybe) to know that now that I have a hardcore DVD player, i can watch Shounen Club on my TV, and the karaoke at the bottom is now big enough for me to actually read, so instead of watching the people, i spend the episode going "I know that kanji! and that one!"
I dunno why they don't just have a course that teaches japanese to people this way, honestly. Cause it promotes reading and listening all at once, and is completely pleasurable (if you like pop, anyway).

A couple of my vietnamese students know who DBSK is, which makes me laugh, but also makes me go "OH GOD IM GOING TO GET FIRED."
