11/4 Shokura Thoughts

as i'm sure you've come to expect, i have several things to say about Shounen Club.



* kisumai's new costume's = YES. god, i cannot WAIT to see Endless Road next week. Also i love Fujigaya's new hair. Also i love Kitayama's bare shoulders. also i love Nika dorking about in the background of Jr ni Q

* Also I love Koyama's fuzzy sweater coat. KOYAMA. ILU.

* ABC, you are just the sex. I'm really hoping that is your new angle. both Yara songs had me with my jaw dangling the entire time.

* Question? sounds terrific, again. I have lots of sudden "YES" for them.

* I find it puzzling that Yabu and Hikaru do next to nothing with their new group, and then just have solos. I hesitate to venture a guess about what all this means, because my guesses are always, always wrong. So, draw your own conclusions.

* Shoon looks happy. Again, I dunno what any of this means, I dunno what Taiyo's doing this week, and I dunno why Shoon is singing with two batches of HS people neither of which seems to involve his bandmates. But I know that he looks happy. And I am glad for it.

*the merge of Kizuna/Yorokobi was AWESOME.

Okay, blue coat people seem to maybe be the remenants of JJ Express plus some others?

I only recognize Kamei Taku. Another MIGHT be... Hashimoto Ryosuke, judging by the kanji...

Kisumai's costumes? Um. Blue. With leopard print. Are you serious? Plus Nikaido's is super high-necked which means I can't see that lovely-

I was heartbroken to see him without anyone else in matching costumes. I mean, JE costumes are just bizarre looking, but get enough of them together with a theme and suddenly they don't look so bad. BUT SHOON DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE ELSE TO MATCH WITH. *cries*

Have you downloaded the latest Domoto Brothers with HSJ? There was a moment when I thought that more of your writing would come to life, but alas, Yabu answered Koichi as his most admired senpai. T_____T;;; What a waste.

i'm reasonably sure that the other three blue coat guys are from BEST, it's everybody but Yabu and Hikaru, but it would make sense the rest are from JJ.

dude, i love Kisumai's stuff. I love how they always get swirly things around their waist and also SLEEVELESS HI. I can't wait to get a much better look during their thing next week.

Well, I'm not claiming to have access to the inner working of his mind or anything, but he's smiling whenever the camera gets a good look at him, and that's all you can ask for, really. Also him bouncing around like a dork with koyama = SO CUTE.

I have never seen Yara before! but it seems that this tackey unit thing might be interesting.

well, I thought Shoon was smiling, at any rate, and it didn't look forced to me. and I really liked his costume at the very end.

I haven't, because I think an SC's worth of HS is really all I can handle. Lol, Yabu changed his answer! it really did used to be Kame! but it makes sense though, he's modeling after the members of JE who are all the hardest-working (and a little scary), Koichi and Kame and i wouldn't be surprised to see Jun on that list either.

It's one of the reasons I'm worried about Yabu, because he is turning out like that, very driven, a little serious, a little cold. And if he doesn't have people he trusts around him to keep him loose...think about Jun without Arashi, or look how Kame is because KAT-TUN isn't very close. Shinpai desu.

LOL~ there are some nice Yabu moments from the show though. ^_^ Like, when Koichi and Tsuyoshi discuss how much Yabu has grown and Yabu is asked to stand up next to Koichi, who suddenly looks like a dwarf. XD

And actually, Yabu was one of the first to be asked the most admired senpai question, so Koichi was the polite, expected answer. -____- The other boys branched out a bit~ two of them admired KAT-TUN. PMSL. Yes, why not try and emulate the sluttiest group in JE when there's a 12yr in your midst. @@;;;;;

You feel that Kame is alone too, hey? And yes, Jun would be a heck of a lot scarier if he didn't have the other Arashi members to remind him of his inner dork.

I so desperately want to see Yabu in a drama of some sort, but I hate how tired, underfed and overworked the boys already are. D:

Ah, what you say here is so true! But unfortunately he has to. I mean, he's (was?) the junior leader, and he has to put up with many things he doesn't like, so he really has to toughen up. ;__; I'm glad he has Hikaru with him in HSJ.

Definitely NOT the other BEST members (Daiki, Takaki, Inoo). I can easily recognize all of those. :P

If you watched the thing where Takki finally told Yara he was the leader (omg FUNNY), you can see Yara's old hair. It was so nice. ;_;

ah, you're totally right. I was just assuming since the thing before them involved little HS members, and they were getting listed in the summary thinger. My fail as usual.

Although i guess i should take it as a positive sign that there are still some jrs i don't recognize.

Irea says it's the group that's replacing JJ, with Hasshi, Kamei, Kato, and the other two. They do look pretty good, and apparently i'm going to like them much more than I ever did JJ, so that's a good thing.

ah, changed hair explains why i did not recognize him at all. I'm so terrible with faces, I have to use the hair as a crutch for a long time.

oh, i completely enjoy yabu being the asshole, if you know what i mean, i think it's a role that suits him and certainly will more and more as he grows up. That's why i'm so surprised to see him doing so little frontwork for HS, since he's always been filmed and promoted like a leader.

I'm glad he has Hikaru, too. Whatever happens, at least that's something.

It's hard watching him be alone, yes, but others were reaching out to show support to him during the show, both Koyama and Yuto during songs, and then some people during the finale. Maa, you can't be in the Jimusho as long as Shoon and not have a pretty thick skin, Shoon'll make it.

I feel like everybody in KAT-TUN is sort of alone. It's part of their problem that they all have such strong side projects and interests. Even if they did all get along terrifically well, which some of them plainly don't, it would be tough. Kame though, i love him, but he tends to overwork himself, and you can see plainly the effect of somebody like that not having a group that is actively surrounding him with support and reminders to take care of himself.

I don't want Yabu to look like Kame does, and recently there have been a lot of moments where i pause to look at Yabu and I feel like I'm looking into Kame's eyes.

What are your thoughts on YamaPi? NEWS, no matter how much Koyama goes on about member ai, don't really gel together as a group. I see a lot of pairings in NEWS.

well, NewS isn't as ot5 as say Arashi, no, but i think a lot of that had to do with their numbers and the upheaval when they were formed (not to mention all the upheaval since). Also the age gap didn't help much. But these days they seem much closer, now that everybody has grown up and they are down to a manageable number.

Yamapi is all about Ryo, that much I'm sure of, but in other news he's also all about Jin, and I think you can see a little bit the pull of that taking him outside his band. but honestly, If nothing else crazy happens to those boys, I expect we'll only see them get closer over time.
