oh christ this is embarrassing.

So the song in the glitter!fic, you know, the Song...I wrote it. I wrote it and sang it. and mp3'd it. *covers eyes at own t00biness*

It's only me singing, and there's no guitar or anything, and I'm a girl rather than a Sirius...so it's not really hot or anything...

but here it is.

Full Moon

Think you make the call
Think you make the choice
Think you know it all

I'll hurt you there's no doubt
But Ain't that what we're all about?
I Bet no one'll cut you like me
And I'll twist the knife so deep

You're hiding deep inside my soul
And there's no way I'm letting this go
All the while you're holding on
Who knew this grip could be so strong

Think you make the call
Think you make the choice
Think you know it all
Think you make the call
Think its yours to make
Think you know it all
But you've never seen the full moon

Hold your breath and squeeze your eyes
I watch you pray this rolls on by
Take shelter till it all blows over
Go back to being one more shoulder

Think you make the call
Think you make the choice
Think you know it all
Think you make the call
Think its yours to make
Think you know it all
When you've never seen the full moon

You think I won't wait here
Think I can't take it slow
I've been biding all this time I'll have you know
Think you'll just wait it out
Think you can stop the change
Blink
and this whole thing'll be arranged

For you…always for you…
I'd do anything but be myself for you

Think you make the call
Think you make the choice
Think you know it all
When you've never seen the full moon
Think you make the call
Think you make the choice
Think you know it all
When you've never seen the full moon
You are the sun and the stars to me
But you've never seen the moon

Thought you made the call
Thought you made your choice
How could you know it all
When you've never seen the full moon?

hopefully the smut made up for this post.

Your voice makes me shiver.

I love this song.

I -- I don't even know what to say to tell you how amazing this is to me.

*puts song on repeat*

Crazy-crazy-touching Sirius!

You do yourself a great disservice, mademoiselle! *bops you with... I dunno, a plastic Grammy or something...* It's very good, and maybe you think less of your voice than the rest of us, but we still enjoy you very much. That song's staying on my hard drive for a while, definitely, just so I can listen to the a capella niftiness.

In case you've yet to notice, another of my talents is sucking up to people. I'm very good when I feel like it. Especially when I have so little actual making stuff up to do. ^_^

Wow, that's beautiful! Both the lyrics and your voice! I could totally imagine him singing that, but you singing it was cool in its own right!

*blushes* thanks so much! I wish I could mp3 just how hot it is in MY head...

I didn't want to put it up at first, cause it's a little dorky to write a song as a fictional character for another fictional character, but the feedback from you guys makes me glad I did. thanks for the support!

I often think that same thing when it comes to drawing. I can *see* exactly how I want it to look, but I can't get it onto the paper right. Grrr.

I didn't want to put it up at first, cause it's a little dorky...

Hee! Never worry about being dorky around us! We'll always love ya for it!

lordy.

see, I wish I could write songs like that. Then I'd have a chance in my dream rock career.

After reading your story and listening to this song and reading the lyrics, I'm determined to figure out how to play it.

Hi! Came across your LJ after following a few fic recs- I hope you don't mind random posters?
(Um, as in people who post randomly. Not random pictures on walls. Gah, shut up, brain...)

Anyway! Just had to tell you, I absolutely love this song. It's so brilliant, I can't even think of a good way to describe it. And yeah, I can definitely imagine him singing this, even though it also sounds amazing enough with your voice.
And not only is it a great song in its own right, it's even better when you fit it in with the (also amazing) fic. Go you!

*laughs at the last line of your post*

its like you've written a bad song and then kinda wailed it out and forced people to listen to it instead of people loving the story, getting to the bottom loving the song and then coming here and going "gosh, she can sing too!"

in case you haven't guessed i'm the weirdo who emailed you... 2 days ago. have gotten round to listening to this and its fabulous [didn't use the word gosh but i presume you'll forgive me]

definately think you should look into getting together a band and possibly sirius although he might be a bit harder to get hold of and recording this properly. and yes... it is rather dorky to write a song for a fictional character from another fictional character but its also wonderful and beautiful.

brilliant song.

No need to worry about dorky-ness here! After all, who can call themselves HP geeks and not know (and love) Wizard Rock?
