Somehow I suspect you won't believe me when I tell you that the only people I particularly considered pairing off were Tendou and Kagami (and possibly Tendou and Hiyori before it turned out they were related)?

Not even the Hoppers? Cause I don't think we're watching the same show. The noise of glee when Kageyama sees Yaguruma again could not be textually rendered in my subject line, and that was BEFORE they started stroking each other's hair.

i suppose, but that's sort of like calling socks a more grown-up version of booties.

Sentai (the stuff power rangers are based on) is a type of Toku, which is the whole genre of live action superheros, usually masked, etc. the Kamen Rider brand just had it's 35th anniversary, and there's been tons of shows with tons of different riders in the franchise. Kabuto is the show from last year, and it's hands down the best Kamen Rider show that I've ever seen.

Toku is aimed at a slightly older audience than sentai is, so you get better actors, better plots, better everything. I really do recommend Kabuto. TV-Nihon does terrific subs.
