What Is the Sound of One Chat Window Blinking?

Adium users: did anybody else lose all Adium sound with the update to 1.2? Mine will not make any noise at all now no matter what I do.

IT'S DRIVING ME KAZOO. sigh, Adium. Why you gotta be so anti.

eta: OKAY WELL. it's fixed now. here is apparently the fix:

1. rename old support folder and restart, forcing Adium to create a new one. This actually fixes nothing.
2. Throw out the new folder and replace the old folder exactly the way it was.
3. MAGIC. EVERYTHING IS FIXED.

wtfingf, adium. you quack.

Thanks for this! I don't have the sound on but Adium is doing some other stupid things.

did it help? you're smart, how can doing this possibly fix things?! I think Soubi is just toying with me.

I haven't tried it yet because I'm actually using the app -- I'll let you know if it works.

It didn't solve my weird problem with the time codes wrapping weirdly. If I don't put AM/PM on the end, the last digit wraps to the next line. Bah!

As soon as I read your subject title I immediately flashed back to Indian history and my teacher describing buddhist koan "what is the sound of one hand clapping?" And then the rest of the class everyone trying to clap one hand.
