I've been watching the early One Piece's again. I'm up to about episode 11, and there are so many random side characters i forgot entirely about!

Also, my love for Usopp FAR OUTWEIGHS how much i liked him the first time I watched these. It's like Kabuto all over again, where i just didn't notice really what people were doing early on cause I didn't like them yet.

where were all you freaks when *I* was watching one piece at first? Why's everybody just getting into it now?!

I'm feeling a little better, finally, or at least not like I want to die all the time. That's improvement.

It's amazing. Definitely my favorite of favorite series in the WORLD. And that's just intense.

I don't know. I'd like to think that anything Usopp-involved is flail-worthy.

There aren't many I love more either. Maybe Hikaru no Go. Or Kyou Kara Maou. but it's up there.

Shorter series just can't manage the character development, I think, which is how I end up falling in love with them. Also, it has terrific girls, which is totally rare. but NAMI. god i love how often she pwns the boys.

It's true. Unless they bash you over the head with it and then that's not fun. And yes! Good girl characters are SO rare. I usually really dislike them.

I got up to 140, which is the end of the Alabaster arc, and then i took a break...

...for like two years. ha. but i'm hoping to work my way back up.

One Piece will always be the best anime/manga series in my heart. I rarely watched it lately, but it doesn't mean I like it less X3

Usually when I watch a series, I always like only one or two characters, hating a few and don't care about the rest. But with One Piece, I practically fell in love with the whole protagonist team, and yes, including the girls (Nami and Robin).

Ah, reading this post makes me want to re-watch it all over again, from the wonderful moment where Luffy burst out of the barrel.

Damn, I don't have a One Piece icon...

i think the alabaster arc is so long and draining the first time you watch it, and then as soon as you take a break, there's so much other stuff to watch, it's easy to get distracted.

USOPP! *fist pumps* I've been thinking about him a lot lately, mostly because I'm trying to write a Water 7 story. He's such a sweetheart and probably my favorite Straw Hat.

He is such an honest idiot! Such a fabulous character. I want a Luffy-friend so badly, even if I probably would feel compelled to hit them over the head once in awhile.

I watched the first 15 or so eps over Christmas break and USOPP IS TOTALLY MY FAVORITE A;LKFDJA;EIFE <33333333333. What makes me sad is that now that school has started I basically don't get to watch it until this summer. Cry.
