mousapelli: (smirks triumphantly)

I just started rereading Goblet of Fire, and after about ten pages, $12 fell out of my book and onto my chest, a ten and two ones.

what the fucking fuck? I have never in my life stored money in a book, nor used it as a bookmark. LOL what the hell.

on the other hand, this is better luck than I generally have even at the casino. Any ideas for what I should use my ill-gotten gains?

heee! I must admit I use the closest bookmark-shaped paper to hand as a bookmark, and that is often some sort of money. One time I found two twenties in a book and was like, "!?!?!?" ... and went out and bought more books with it (of course!).

So I think you should use your book money FOR MOAR BOOKS.

maybe you are being rewarded? karmically? did you do something good?
Anyway, you could use your "ill-gotten gains" for...a movie ticket to something you really like (I think? ticket prices vary.), a sweet treat, a new book or books from a used bookstore...etc.

That's MAGIC MONEY.

Keep it and spend $12 from your bank account or something.

I think it was intended for you to buy more books, as much I'd love to say USE IT FOR PORN \(*__*)/ CLEARLY THE UNIVERSE WANTS YOU TO READ MORE?

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge. You should have put the money back inside the book and waited to see if it multiplied. ;)
