*went out to casino for friend's birthday last night and was even for most of the night on various slot machines. In the end was only down $10, which is probably the best night I ever had at the casino. conversely the math teacher won $200 at roulette, but the chemistry teacher was down $80. I introduced them to the fish game, though, which is my favorite.

*when I started the cereal diet, I weighed 200 lbs. here at week 4 I weigh...200 lbs. my body's ability to stay exactly at this weight vastly outweighs my ability to keep from eating and doing everything I like to eat or do. Do you know how many real cokes and cadbury cream eggs I've turned down in those four weeks? My body doesn't care. Also i've had the same headache for about 4 days now. My body is just an unreasonable jerk, and I'm sick of it. It's like living with a conjoined twin that is a complete jackwagon.

I just have to do something else, I guess, but I'm at a loss what else to try, having tried both diet and exercise as solutions. I walk so much at school that it's not even funny.

*went over to do taxes at my parents', which is always a huge ordeal, but this year my dad accidentally bought the turbotax without the free online state filing and we had exactly zero problems. That was certainly a welcome surprise. Last year he was on about it was all my old computer's fault (which i gave them for free, btw) until I threatened to take it back and make them do it their own damned selves. Must be the problem was with the super deluxe version. weird, but good. Taxes are done.

*I've been explaining all week about the Kisumai's debut, which, you know, awesome that I get to do that, but I seriously have to explain the whole corporate structure of Johnny's every single time. I tried just being like "a band I like is having their first cd in May" but then it's like how do you know about them if they aren't real, and how can they have songs that aren't real songs, and didn't you see them last year, etc etc. If I do it too simply they don't see why I'm excited, and if I go into any detail at all, I might as well start over at the beginning. Anyway, I've reached the point where my need to talk about it is outweighed by how much explaining talking about it will necessitate.

*so it was probably a mistake to do the nails with kisumai-colored stars because everybody wants to know why the stars are all different colors. I redid the little ones with the konad stars, though, so they look much better, and everybody likes the lime green a lot. 'Ivy League' is the name of it, and it's that Xtreme Sally Hanson stuff again.

*TakiCHANnel was Nisen this week and will be Tamamiya next week. Yay! Also I keep rewatching the jnet debut announcement where Miyata randomly digs his chin into Tama's shoulder while he's talking and Tama doesn't even react. Normal~ lol later I bet he realized and was like fmllllll.

have you tried yoga or something? i dance 13+ hours a week and im not losing any weight... if anything im gaining it... my friend told me its cuz my body is so used to that kind of exercise that it doesnt care... she said i need to try something that i dont normally do. havent gotten around to doing it yet though... so maybe ur body is so used all the walking? yoga is just a suggestion. :P

i completely understand what you mean about having to explain Johnny's corporate structure everytime people ask y im so happy when i randomly start smiling like an idiot thinking about it. and then after i start i get the look that says "im sorry i asked..." cuz they dont get it anyways... =.=

NiSen was so cute~! poor Kenpi fail~
i love that part! Tama doesnt even flinch or anything. he doesnt even look at Miyacchi or show any signs that anything happened~

Yesterday I was skyping with my mom and aunts. They asked if I had fun last weekend in Tokyo and ended up with like a 30min flailing explanation of Kisumai and JE and how groups debut and all that. They may never ask me about my weekend trips again. D:

I use livestrong (http://www.livestrong.com/)'s calorie counter to keep track of my food intake. I found it extremely useful when I was losing weight last summer.

Also, another thing I found realllly useful when trying to change my diet is to read healthy living blogs like ohsheglows (http://ohsheglows.com/) and healthytippingpoint (). Reading them everyday helped me be more active and idkkk ~HEALTHY~ in general

I keep track on and off, but it gets frustrating fast because i stay the same weight whether i'm eating 2k calories a day or 1200-1500. And i guess if i liked exercise or eating healthy things, then I might want to read about it, but I...don't.

i think one of the main problems is not sleeping enough, but there's simply nothing i can do about it. I just don't have time to sleep 8+ hours a day, and I'm not going to so long as I teach, so indefinitely. Probably that's why I managed to lose a bunch of my grad school weight when I first moved back home, because I was depressed, so I was sleeping like all the time rather than deal with anything.

oh well. at least no one can tell I'm fat on the internet.

lol, lacking people in my life who are generally interested, my parents are subjected all the time to Johnny's news and honestly I don't care at all how much they probably wish I would stop.

anime club thought they looked cool though.

It's HARD for women to lose weight. We're genetically programmed to hold onto fat supplies to survive famines and maintain viable pregnancies. That adaptation hasn't caught up to modern food distribution and lifestyles.

I think people underestimate the amount of calories they eat and overestimate the amount they actually burn, is the problem. Calorie counting is math, but if you don't work out while watching your diet then your metabolism will just adjust to burning less and hence, no weight loss.
