so, the website is over my bandwidth limit. AGAIN. It hasn't happened in months, actually, but i'm just tired of thinking about it. the whole point of paying for the website was so that i didn't have to worry about it. if it would just turn itself off when it ran over, i would live with it because i WOULDN'T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT ALL THE EFFING TIME.

it's just stupid, because after the last drama, the site is mostly text, fics and such, and then my email, none of which should be an inordinate amount of bandwidth. (ten percent of my bandwidth goes to people reading "So You Want To Transfigure Yourself a Rock Band :). If i had known it was going to be a phenomenon, i would have given it a shorter title.)

haven't updated it in months either. *feels crap* There's no solution here really, because once in a while something is going to go out of control like this, and i won't know about it until it's already way too late.

Now i have to email greg (my webhost) about pro-rating. Fuck.

I friended you recently because I absolutely ADORED "So You Want to Transfigure Yourself a Rock Band." It's one of the funniest fics I've ever read. I laughed all the way through the Marauders' dialogue; I actually liked your Peter, for one. I couldn't stop cracking up during the concert, what with James being so clueless about Remus and Sirius, and his awesome grand finale. The lyrics to 'Full Moon' are so beautiful and sweet. I wish I'd given feedback right after I'd read it, so I could point out more specific things I liked (though I will admit to having read it twice!) but almost every line of dialogue was fantastic, so I won't quote the whole thing back at you. Remus/Sirius is one of my favourite pairings, but I don't often see it done this well - it was amusing and touching at the same time, without being fluffy. Just great. Anyway, you don't have to friend me back, I don't really write in my lj that often, but I just wanted to friend you for fic updates and such. Best of luck with your web site and thanks for the great story!
xo, Mori

Mer. That sucks muchly. How much bandwidth do you get a month? Because I'm with rydia.net and they'got some good deals and they've yet to go down on me.

...and I just realized that sounded really bad.

heh!

actually, a friend from school has me on his server (he runs a business, so i'm really just helping him defray costs), and he's giving me a gig a month, double what i'm supposed to have. He's been super nice about it, which is part of the reason i feel so bad about it. It's really just irking that one random incident causes all this drama.
