while the library guy did not say "i am hiring you so that i don't have to see your smelly face every other day for the rest of the semester", I'm sure he was thinking it.

also: in prose comp this morning, my professor looked at me and was like "Sara, you look so sleepy!" Apparently my expression of manifest irritation and condecension looks very much like sleepiness. this explains why i've never been kicked out of a class.

Yay, congratulations! You are now part of the elite club of rat-owning college librarians. Or in my case ex-librarians. :D The job is usually a little dull ("ten thousand more photocopies, please"), but the look of adoration on panicked students' faces when you help them with their research is so worth it.

Do work on that smelliness problem. :P
