a VCD inquiry
Sep. 26th, 2004 01:35 pmall right, some of you seem to know something about doing techy things on macs.
I have some AVIs that i want to burn to VCD. I am fairly certain i can manage this right up to the actual burning, which is where directions inevitably say 'use Toast' or some other third party burning software.
Do i have to use something else? I mean, it's just a data burn so far as i can tell, can't I just use my ibook's regular internal burn function?

it's got lots of guides. And .avi to vcd is not a data burn per se.
most .avi files need to be re-encoded for vcd function (in my experience)
