man, if that isn't a latin prose comp sentence, than i don't know what is.

what it should say: "Famine is threatening us daily and the townsmen are urging the governor to surrender the city to the enemy; but he refuses to impart his decision to me, and i am at a loss what to do."



what it does say: "Every day for us a lack of resources threatens and the townsmen are repeatedly nagging at the govenor that he give the city to the enemy, the one who to me not knowing what I should do whatever he has decided he refuses to tell."

eh, close enough.
