Definitely agree on FMA, but not so much with Ghost.

Not sure what it is with Ghost in the Shell, beginning really threw me I think, but hey, I'll give it a shot.

Man, next week seems really far away.

i don't really understand Ghost, but it's pretty, and the theme song is cool, so i like when it's on but don't really pay attention to it. It's like watching Samaurai Jack.

Seriously. *tinkers with time machine*

hm, yeah, I've never commented before, but... FMA absolutely rocks! I downloaded the fansubs ages ago so the voices sounded very off. It's so strange when you compare subs and dubs. And even though I've seen them all, just had to watch tonight. Yay for obsessions! :)

yeah, i tend to get attached to whatever set of voices i've heard first, whether they're the original or the dubbed.

well, the first episode was pretty hot, so i'm looking forward to the run!

Huh. I've never heard of FMA before this week, but now it's turned up on my flist twice-- once because a character in fic someone recced was obsessed with it, and now here. I could probably get ahold of it, too, since I know basically everyone in the anime club here. And dated one of them!

you should investigate, it is the hot.

Rock on.

You know what's fucking amazing about FMA?
The first episode totally does not prepare you for the awesome that is to come.

Woo! So glad you're getting into it!
(And if you really lose your patience with waiting for more -- and when we get to some of the cliffhangery episodes, I wouldn't blame you at all for that -- let me know. I have the entire run in fansubs, and could yousendit them to you, or burn cds, or something.)

eeee! I'm very excited then, because i adored the first one.

That would be really hot, cause then i would understand what you guys up in eps 20-something are talking about. But i don't want to cause you loads of trouble because you have been such a sweetie with the KKM episodes and all. What's easy for you? no rush or anything, i'm still finishing off the last few KKMs between NaNo sessions.

Send me your address -- laylah at bearhome dot net -- and I'll burn cds for you at work this week. It's probably a good deal faster than going back to re-start the yousendit series.

When you get far enough to get inspired, write me some smut, and we'll call that equivalent trade. ^_^

I'm so happy it's finally on! I only got to see the first two episodes fansubbed. I've been dying for more ever since. Alphonse's voice sounded spot-on to me, but then I haven't seen that much of the original. Not sure yet about Ed.

I already have the first GitS DVD, so I skipped that.

[livejournal.com profile] laylah_r has been yousendit-ing them for people, but they are already up in the 20s and i didn't want to jump in without having any idea what was going on.

I liked Ed and Al's voices a lot, but i usually like whichever set of voices i hear first, i'm not picky.I haven't reached the true translation snob stage yet:)

GitS doesn't thrill me, but it's pretty and i love the theme song.

heh, nope, not at all. I've even seen the original movie and still not so much. It's pretty though. Guess you can't have it all.
