does anybody know how illegal rat fights work? I mean, i know that you put two rats in a pit and one kills the other, but that's all i've got right now.

Who does them and where do they do it? do you breed rats for this, or train them, or just catch really mean ones? How many people attend such an event and what does the pit look like?

any history or technical terms relevant to rat fighting would be appreciated.

I have never heard of rat fighting before. Probably because I've never met one with that sort of temperment. I'm curious about this now :)

No clue, really. I suspect it's like cock fighting, and all I know about that is from Seinfeld. :D I expect they'd privately breed rats for it, because a mean rat would be really hard to catch or train. They can put up a hell of a fight against a dog, even.

I'd see it happening in some seedy bar.
