Krispy Kremes!

I have a Krispy Kreme! Actually, I have had three. My professor had to smuggle them in from Canada for class.

Mmm, glazed donut...it's like seeing the sun after being in the dark at the north pole for six months!

Mmmm, yummy! My mom bought a bunch at Kroger's Friday night, they're pretty much all gone now. (The bag of mini-crullers didn't last long at all.)

well, no and yes.

see, Brian lives in Montreal and drives the two hours to burlington every freaking morning because he is a nutcase. He says the Krispy Kreme near him is new, but we don't have ANY in burlington, not even the kind that convenience stores sell when there isn't a real krispy kreme around. So he brought them down for us.

I love Krispy Kremes. Too much. :) There's a Krispy Kreme around here, fortunately on a road with so much traffic that I don't want to go every single day.

But we have no White Castle. :( Where I used to live, there were neither, so I consider myself lucky.

There are some White Castles by Chicago, where Jeff's family lives, so we go there sometimes. They aren't spectacular, but they're different. Some grocery stores have them in the freezer section. They're tiny thin burgers that you can eat in a couple of bites.

We only got a Krispy Kreme here last October, so they're still very novel to me...
addictive aren't they? And they sell the bloody things at McDonald's now, so it's like double-temptation *wince* so I have to prevent myself from going anywhere near the place, even though it's one of the only 2 24 hr restaurants near work (;; and i work nights)
