I did the flist swap with elvisfan05 who has a teensy managable flist *pets it like an eensy puppy* I learned the following:

--lauraspeak, who is also doing the flist exchange, has a friend who was joking about getting a college roommate that would turn out like Kathy in the BtVS episode 'Living Conditions', and then when she got her information actually has a roommate named Kathy.

--Economics is hard if you are the lone 'single mother' in a class of people paired off as married couples in that 'real life' experiment high schools do.

--Prom dresses are to be had in various colors and styles.

--and the pets page has been updated.

I somehow suspect that elvisfan05 may have been a bit out of her depth while peering at my flist. hope you all were nice to her, and the discussion of KKM and Elricest didn't give her nightmares.

still in the burg for another week before i go back to the frozen north, but i have been online slightly more. laylah_r, my brother and i have been watching FMA mercilessly and we've only got three cds to go. I sucked him in with promises of Winry airtime :)

I had a pretty good time. I got a baby nephew for Christmas, and he's great. I hated to have to leave!

Sewing machines are cool. I broke mine ages ago though. What are you going to make?

Rats are great. One of the apartment managers took care of them while I was gone, and they were acting just like normal the day after I got back. They made me feel very loved though. :)

ooh, baby nephew! i went along with my friend to her ultrasound and found out i'll have a godson this June. the goddaughter was not all about the ultrasound as it turned out to be not all about her. she's going to be all sorts of dramatic when she's sharing a mommy.

no real plans yet, i made a bunch of people fleece hats for chrismas using my mom's machine, so now i can whip those suckers out. i have a ton of t-shirts that i don't wear anymore but can't bear to get rid of, maybe i'll make a quilt or something.

aw, glad to hear the girls made out okay. My rat's been snoozing away most of the break in my bed, but he's irritated i spend so much time at work at the movie theater.

I was surprised how well the rats did. They didn't even fight, apparently. I feel much less guilty now. Dude, your rat needs some sweet-sweet [gender-unspecified] lovin'. :D My girls would be happy to oblige if we weren't like 2200 miles apart.

Yay! So glad you're getting hooked, and dragging others along for the ride. ^_^
The end gets a little crack-heavy, as dramatic anime series often do, but it's still a damn good show.

true enough, after tonight's run, we're down to the last four, and things are getting pretty whacked out.

geez, it's hard to say who i like best :) Winry cracks me up because she's batshit insane half the time, and major armstrong never fails to make me smile. that completely random episode with his sister? i laughed until i CRIED.

Hughes might be my favorite. i was so upset when i realized he was done for good, and then when Winry finally found out I cried all over again. I miss him, and everytime they show that picture on Mustang's desk of the two of them, it breaks my heart.

Envy's my favorite homunculus, hands down, although he hasn't been around much the last few episodes, so i hope he gets a great finale. i was disappointed Greed didn't show back up after being killed so early, i thought he might get re-corporated. you've got a thing for Greed and Kimberly, right?

also, i was glad we got a third (fourth?) theme, cause i didn't like the second one that much and i HATED the second endtheme, the slow-green-winry one.

I ship Greed/anything that moves. He just makes me so happy. Greed/Kimberly seems to be the most popular Greed 'ship in the fandom, so it's what people keep asking me for. But I also have soft spots for pairing him with any of the chimeras, and he's fucked-up!hot with Envy, and I like him in crack pairings, and... Yeah. *points to icon*

And yeah. Hughes was amazing. I keep watching the show with more people, and Hughes gets better every time, and I keep not warning them about ep 25, and...yeah. Ow.

I cry at eps 25, 34, and 42 every goddamn time.
...But I love this show.
