it's just that it's so effing cold up here! I haven't worn tights since elementary school, but walking home from class is unbearable without anything but jeans on.

and who knew tights were expensive in real life? It's like $8 a pair! They must be the hot Vermont commodity. Thank god for ebay.

It's obscene how expensive all the really cool socks and tights and such can get, no matter where I've looked. Possibly it's a global conspiracy and we'll never get reasonably-priced foot stuff anywhere but ebay ever again.
