Dear Bittorrent--

Yes, I know the KKM torrent is from a Chinese site, and I know that the other peers are most likely on some cracked out foreign port, and I know that you can see the AVI version on my desktop already, but you see, darling Bittorrent, the WMP cannot play the AVI because it is some strange WMV3 file, and god forbid Windows programs should play their own goddamn files, so I am forced to download Chinese subs because they are inexplicably realmedia files, because i'll be goddamned if everybody else in the free world is going to get to see Wolfram's earrings while I cannot.

And that is why you must start actually downloading the file from the 50-odd Asians you can see. Because Wolfram has earrings OMGWTFOTP4EVAH.

I knew you would understand.

You're probably missing a codec. Try this one -

If that doesn't work you can try looking round for more codecs on the Microsoft website or Google around for "WMV3".

actually, that's exactly the problem, but there isn't a solution since my computer is a mac. Windows hasn't released the codec to anybody but themselves, which is kind of funny since they are claiming it's going to be the new market standard or whatever crack they are on this week.

Mplayer and the WMP for mac will play some (read virtually none), but there aren't any real workable options at the moment.

I got my chinese-dubbed rmvb though, so now i have seen what i wanted to see. once things are fansubbed, they get reformatted into avis that I have no problem with, but for some reason the raws are always big drama. if the dubbing weren't so slow, i wouldn't even bother, and even now I only do it when something is really cool.

sure thing! it's http://bt.greedland.net/ (http://bt.greedland.net/) . The little search box is a trifle hard to find, it's on the rightish side in the middle two or three inches down, there's a dropdown menu for something right beside it. Just type 'kyou' in, and you'll get everything relevant, the AVI and RMVB torrents will probably be right at the top of the list.

they are randomly only in the one scene towards the end. but hot!
