mousapellithere seems to be some confusion about my last entry: you are signing up to be MY minions. When I gain immortality and all.
comps are over. prose was really easy (yay Cicero!), and poetry, as predicted, was more than a little questionable (boo Vergil!), but not in a way that I don't think i passed.
i think i have passed. i think it's over.

dipping_sauce, do you still have my cell number?). She threatened to leave behind some of my birthday loot in PA, but i said no. NO!
Had a lot of fun with Jef and Douglas and Jana and Beth and Charlie and Pria and Amy, but I think five hours is about my social limit, or at least is without drinking, which poses a problem when you're allergic to alcohol.
squkiwibird, you were right about Mirage of Blaze, it is pretty cool. I watched the first one this morning. It's dubbed, but eh, i'll live. I watched a lot of Hikaru no Go too, and Isumi breaks my heart. I need to write Waya/Isumi comfort smut during the pro exams. and i can't find the first KKM volume anywhere! *kicks VT*

Date: 2005-05-06 11:35 pm (UTC)Heh. So, I'm glad you liked Mirage of Blaze. It's really much better subbed than dubbed, and it picks up quite a bit as you go along. Naoe has his Sec-e-ret that he's hiding (that everyone but Kagetora/Takaya knows about). Also, the possession thing is pretty cool. There are all kinds of moral implications attached to that. Oh, yeah, and Naoe is a monk. :)
Oh, and I want you to know that I think I saw the first disk of KKM at my local Best Buy, so have courage. It is out there. When I saw it, I thought of you. Of course, the sad thing is that I was at Best Buy _specifically_ looking for Descendants of Darkness (another good, slashy anime), but they didn't have it! *sniff* Anyway, I can recommend Descendants of Darkness if you're in the market for new anime to check out. It has a dark tone to it (they're Guardians of Death, after all, and they fight demons and vampires), but the characters are adorable. Someone else once described them as "the prettiest dead boys in anime."
OKay, so I'll sign off now before I ramble too much. I wish I could get Hikaru no Go. It sounds cool. I'm going to bug my local movie rental place to get KKM for me. I've heard so much about it now that I have to see it. :)

see, you don't know how funny that is, because our FYE DOES have Yami no Matsuei (which I do love by the way, it's like the second series i watched after Gravitation), but as reported, no KKM. i finally gave up and amazoned it, and it should be here early next week.
they are the prettiest dead boys in anime. Hisoka is the angsty hot like whoah fuck.

Ahhh! Evil! :) Ah, well. I may have to Amazon my Yami no Matsuei. I've already fallen off the edge and bought all of the manga for it. *sigh* Book 5 should be out soon . . .

Oh, yeah!! :) My sister R likes Tsuzuki the best, but I like both of them for their own little quirks. Hisoka rocks! I love the way he carries a gun . . . and yeah . . . the angst . . . I love the way he can't stand parties because of his empathic nature. Also, Muraki is EVIL. Okay, I'm making no sense. I'm glad to have found a fellow lover of that series. *wave*
