There are guys coming early tomorrow to replace our carpet and linoleum, so sociofemme and I moved all our furniture into the living room in a huge, packed-in mess.

only to realize at the end that we'd left the floor lamp on the far side of the room turned on.

Is there anything else I could possibly fail at today? anything?

Well. Maybe, maybe not, but I did laugh for a good two minutes at Darth Furiated earlier. Because I am just that big of a geek.

<333 Tomorrow will be a better day. Really. If it doesn't start out to be, I suggest finding someplace to obtain or create fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. They fix most of life's problems.

you know, that's not the most soothing list there, because #2 has already happened via Ellen, and #1 only hasn't happened yet because i doubt my ability to call them and report that I failed my comps without crying.

well, no, because we can't reach it. all the furniture is in the way, you see. I can't move anything until ellen comes home from work, even now that the carpet guys are gone. So it is destined to be on for quite some time.
