Time's target audience is 55+ people. So, the nostalgia of Adam West would probably warm their crotches just dandy. Warner Brothers (or whomever the heck is producing the new film) probably LOVES making my 68 year old uncle go to the new movie thinking they'll be reminded of Adam West.
