heard on the way to class this morning:

Kid 1: "You're stupid."

Kid 2: "You're stupider."

Kid 1: "You're stupid times 2π."

Kid 2: "You're stupid times 3 infinity!"

Kid 1: "3 infinity? are you HIGH?"

I attempted no discipline, because i had to lean on the rail to laugh at this point.

Bwah.

I fetched my 12 year old to read.

He:

cackled.
Agreed that was silly.
Then said, besides, it's the wrong question. If it were possible to multiply the infinite by three, that would be a really high number, they're asking the obvious, only, it's the number, not the person.

Wonderful.
Discipline?! Sheesh, no chance. Not unless they start throwing slide-rules at each other or something.

who did you make cry? what did you do, write a thinly veiled story about her romantic exploits?

no, that hasn't happened yet. There was one girl who refused to go back to her seat and work quietly during study hall even after we asked her five times, so finally Danielle (who is the cutest non-threatening person ever) like frog-marched her back to her seat and she went all woogly.

But things have been better the last two days.

Took the Chevy to the levy cause the levy was dry
And the good old boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singin'
this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die...

DIE DIE DIE DIE LIVE LIVE LIVE LIVE SEX SEX SEX SEX!

Hihi. I don't know if you remember me, I'm Kayla from Greek, CTY Lancaster session 2 last year. No, don't worry, I haven't been stalking you all year through lj, but I do still have my contact sheet, so I decided to post and see if you're back at CTY. And, it seems, you are. Are you at Lancaster again, and teaching with Sean? What course are you TAing (Greek II?)?

haha, i do indeed remember you! I'm at Lancaster again, doing Greek I, and Sean is not back, this year we have a new woman named Danielle who is very nice and excited to do CTY for the first time. But that means that I am teaching the ten lines of the Odyssey to everybody (if you can even imagine that).

No worries, actually a handful of kids from both sessions talk to me either online or on LJ.

Okay, I couldn't find your email on your site, so I figured I'd ask here. :p

I'm in the middle of setting up a KKM fiction archive (http://www.farawaysky.co.uk) and I was wondering if you'd mind if I put up your KKM fics? As some of them are favourites of mine, and I'd love to have them up there. :D

sure, go right ahead! I'm flattered you want to put up my stuff. If you want to attach an email address to it, mousapelli at livejournal dot com works just fine.

The site looks really cute. and your header graphic is great!
