so i'm watching Tennis on the TV. In French (shut up, i completely do not have a problem). and i was disappointed to discover that it's some women's tournament, but i continue to watch it.

however, it turns out i have been undergoing some accidental operant conditioning, because when one girl was forced to hit a lob, i immediately shouted "CHANCE BALL!"

i think this means that i cannot ever go watch tennis in person, or we will have a repeat of the Chancey incident at the first pokemon movie, but on the other hand, it was completely called for, because the other girl hit this momentous Momo-style jump smash, and even the french announcers went "SMASH!"

haha, is tennis like the international no-language sport or what?

ETA: have moved onto the boys. Roddick skidding across the court to get the dropshot is teh sex!

no, i haven't really got into Atlantis, i like the original. Turns out the seasons aren't too expensive, like $30 each, so i may score a few.

Men's tennis is like 50 times better than women's. Rodderick is freaking hot (and they keep commenting about him winning his service game *snicker*)

Roddick just dove for a dropshot and when skidding across the court, and i was all "woah, people really do that?! i thought it was just dramatic anime license..." Then he was all "don't spray my arm with that crap, fool, i want SCARS." *loves*

I'd say something about athletes and males both tending to be crazy that way, except I know I'd probably want something to scar if I knew it was going to look cool and have a not-totally-stupid story.

yes, Roddick is teh sex. I've always had a thing for male tennis players, and in the past few years, it's like all the tourneys consist of young, hot guys with fabulous bodies and great hair. It's like Nike, Reebok, and whatever other corporate sponsors out there were like "okay, we need to increase our revenue for these products--so bring out the genetically engineered hotties and give them rackets and let them go play."
