If you've sent me something in the mail in the last few weeks, and I haven't thanked you or mentioned explicitly that it arrived, that's cause it hasn't. I've barely been getting any mail at all, in fact.

Oh no, that sucks. Where I lived before, much of my mail arrived neatly opened, and I actually had a locked mailbox. No troubles here, at least. (I suspect it was someone at the post office.) I hope you find out what's going on.
