Some of you may remember a similar poll last year about this time, only it was 0 hours of non-plane travel. And i was going to be home for 3 days, not 36 hours.

Gosh, I think I'd ask my folks to contribute. It's their party... and aren't they supposed to care about family stuff and all that crap?

I third what beagley said because you shouldn't be forced to shell out money you really can't afford on something that isn't actually technically necessary. *hugs*

no, its really the other way around, i WANT to go home, and they would pay for it, its just the complete struggle that getting there would be that is the problem.

Flying direct from Burlington to Harrisburg is like $550 right now for whatever reason (it was like $250 last year), so my options are to drive forever and ever to get to places that will fly me to Philly or Pittsburgh.

I just don't think it's worth it for not even two full days. I'm pretty sure I'm not going.

Ahhhh. So yeah, that's still an awful lot of spending and scrambling for what's not even a proper weekend trip, but if you really want to go that's okay too.
