wow, i sure didn't think you'd be the one to pick this fandom, of all things (why aren't you on AIM so i can tell you how i randomly decided that Nami was getting double-teamed by those two brothers who call her aniki?)

1. Al. Oh god, when they start doing those flashbacks and he's alchemizing those crappy little horses, i was like expiring of the cute.
2. Scar. I felt nothing for him the first time through, but then after the brother story became clear, next time my heart broke for him everytime he came on screen.
3. There's really no one character...but I don't get sexual Ed/Roy. I like it much better when they're just riling each other up to be irritating.
4. Winry? Maybe other people don't hate her, but I think she's awesome, and i don't see her around much in fandom.
5. I had a brief love affair with Sciezka, cause dweeblove!, but there's not much there to hang on to.
6. Envy. God how I love the hot that is Envy.
7. Winry again. Her kickassery of Ed just breaks me up.
8. Ed and Al's teacher. I HATE her, she's always beating them up! I hate all their flashbacks where she just wails on those two. waaah.
9. Hughes/Roy, always Hughes/Roy. I'm such a sucker for best friends, and the phone hangups are my favorite comedy bits.
10. Roy/Kimbley, not cause i don't like it, but cause all the people who write the really great Roys ship this, and thus aren't writing me hot hughes/roy.

1. Yozak, although it's so hard to tell in this fandom. But Yozak was the first one who made me cry with laughter with his bad, bad crossdressing.
2. Wolfram. He was such a jerk the first handful of episodes, and he still is, but in a much more endearing way. I love shows where people actually grow up.
3. Conrad. I like conrad, i do, but the sun doesn't rise and set in him, like it does for some people i could name.
4. Murata! why does no one see the glory of the blond-dyed, girl-chasing, glasses-glinting Great Sage?
5. Gunter's schtick wears thin on me.
6. Shori. So much older brother grumpy hot! I want to ruffle him all up.
7. I want to be a mom like Jennifer in the worst way.
8. This implies more committment than 6. Hmm. In the good way, I want to slap Gwendal sometimes so that we could knit grumpily by the fire together. In the bad way, a lot of times I want to crack Yuuri a good one because he's so freaking clueless.
9. Conrad/Yozak. Yozak is so much with the ass-kicking and the 'stop being such a fucking martyr, ass'.
10. What's with the Wolfram/Conrad popping up all the sudden? all the choices, and you go for that shit? i mean, really.

1. Scabbers! no, seriously, because i was all "he has a pet rat! i have a pet rat too!"
2. Neville. I had him totally pegged as this group's traitor, but then he redeemed himself during OotP.
3. Lucius Malfoy. eh, he's okay. He doesn't do much for me in the books.
4. See #1. I think Pettigrew must have had some redeeming qualities if he was a marauder, and I'd like to know exactly what goes down.
5. Dumbledore. These days he just gives me the creeps.
6. Sirius fucking Black on his Triumph fucking motorbike.
7. I'm hesitant to say Remus and set myself on a path of misery and destitution, but he is a kickass teacher.
8. Hermione, when she's all "i don't care that my pet probably ate your pet!" GRRRR!
9. Just one? Oliver/Percy. It's underwritten, but there can be glorious understated roommate porn, where Oliver is all QUIDDITCH!!!! and Percy sighs and picks up their underwear.

1. I like just about everybody, but Fuji is the first person who made me go WHOA AWESOME with a tennis serve. His Hakugei still makes my little heart go pitty-pat.
2. Kaidoh. I hated him at first, but then all the sudden i saw all the work he was putting into his moves instead of just being a genius, and I realized that it made me really angry when he gets the shaft.
3. The Rikkaidai team. Everybody was all "BEST ARC EVAR" and i was a little meh about the whole thing by the time i got there. I think I would have liked their captain if he had played.
4. People don't hate him, but i see a lot of really badly done Eiji, and I wish they'd get it write!
5. I had a brief infatuation with that very very first doubles pair that momo and echizen play, but now i can't even remember their names
6. Momo! I love how cheerful and huggy he is, i think he'd be a great person to have a little fling with.
7. Jiroh. Mmmm, naptime...
8. Oishi. Get ahold of yourself, man! your team loves you!
9. Inui/Kaidoh. I never saw it coming until the river training, and now I can't see anything else. Sometimes i am momentarily distracted by the shiny of momo/kaidoh, but I always come back in the end.
10. Atobe/Ryoma. *shakes head sadly* so many possibilities and you go for this? I think not.

Ahaha. I agree with...er, about 60% of this. And half agree with another 30%. I never hated Kaidoh because I am very pro-accessory and I noted right off that he doesn't wear socks, which must -- honestly -- be the grossest thing ever, but I was so charmed by it. Basically, it took me so long to warm up to Ryoma that I never held it against Kaidoh.

Momo is so so so fun. I have been entirely distracted by the shiny Momo/Kaidoh (and other Momo-positive pairings). One day I will subject you to my entire treatise about why I really like both Inui/Kaidoh and Momo/Kaidoh, but prefer the latter. I might make charts. More likely, though, I'll just babble on unintelligibly about OMGHEGAVEHIMHISBANDANA!!!!111!!! But, on the other hand, I really have to respect anyone who gets the hot blushy hard-working boy to whip towels around half-naked and dripping wet. Inui R a genius.

Atobe/Ryoma is just one headscratcher in a whole freakin' world of headscratchers. Well-done Eiji makes my heart melt and toes curl. Naps are good. As for Rikkaidai...hmm. Well, I really like Yanagi.

1. Shuichi. I know, it's silly. But I just adore how cracked out he is.
2. Ryuichi. I liked him always, but i love his personality changes and kumagoro!
3. Tohma. Tohma has his uses, but he's like Fuji without the really cool moves, and also i perpetually think he's a girl.
4. Yuki. He's always like this crazed abusive freak in fic, or else all lovey dovey. Either is out of character and unacceptable.
5. Ask just sort of bores me. I know that they are necessary, but a lot of the violence seems sort of random and poorly thought out upon multiple watches.
6. Hiro is so freaking hot. with his guitar and his motorcycle.
7. K! I want to be the crazy american shouting bad japanese and firing automatic weapons! I'm already half there!
8. Tatsuha. But only cause he likes it rough.
9. Ryuichi/Tatsuha. I'm not sure whether it's hotter if Tatsuha does or doesn't know exactly what he's getting into.
10. Shuichi/Ryuichi. It just can't possibly work, they both need way too much attention. A day at the zoo? great. trying to figure out who's on top? Mmm, not so much.

1. Touya, because Go makes him cry. I love when really high-strung characters have their program all fucked up.
2. Waya just irritated me at first, but in combination with Isumi I learned to love his squabbling with Shindou.
3. Ogata. It's not that I don't appreciate his creepy pedo vibe, I just don't want to write about him or anything.
4. Akari. I'm just as guilty of not using her at all in fic as everybody else, but she's Shindou's friend, and I don't mind her hanging around.
5. I liked the Haze boys when the show was there, but i wasn't sorry after we'd moved on.
6. pfft, any of them. But Isumi, I suppose, cause he gets all worried and sweet and serious.
7. Kuwabara. I want to be some cackly old person who tells everybody exactly what I think of them.
8. Touya. Have sex with shindou, you fool! the go is just a thinly veiled metaphor!
9. I always wanted to read more Kaga/Tsutsui, but i don't think I've seen hardly any of it. More riling up of the high-strung serious people.
10. I just can't get behind Shindou/Sai. Cause...he'd not there. And when he is there, shindou is 13. I love sai to death, i do, but no.
