mousapelliso it turns out my boys are double rexes, which means their fur will be all molty and patchy and possibly pretty hairless on and off.
um, ew.
I googled 2x rexes to get a look at what we were talking about, and I was looking at some rather scraggly rats. god dammit. So now i have to be the big jerk and tell the breeder, no, i'd really rather not have male pattern baldrats.
I was under the impression that hairlessness would be revealed when the coats started growing in, but 2x rex grows in and then falls out, so it was just today that they could tell for sure.
Wah. I was so excited and now i feel like crap. and I miss Mulciber.
and I am so freaking tired and my antibiotics are not making me feel any better but are making me fall down a lot. How can it only be Wednesday?
