i was really about to do some hardcore writing, really, but then one of my oldest friends called cause she is home from Chicago for Christmas and we went out for drinks after she abused me roundly for being a tool of the establishment (ie, drinking tea at Starbucks).

I am totally getting sick, and it's completely psychosomatic. This is the part in the semester where I start wearing the same shirt every day until somebody says something to me about it, only nobody ever does, and anyway I can't do that any more because I have the job now. i didn't realize until just now that it wasn't just a symptom of me freaking out but that it actually did make me feel a little better.

I go to bed now, before i turn into Kichida with my emo woez. Leave me something good in my comments?

I think you should secretly wear the shirt under your other clothes. Whatever helps you get through the month. Me, I have a LEGO slug I talk to. Snappy. He is my December friend. Even when I'm sober.

Hmm, this doesn't seem quite so bad as I thought it would in the cold light of day (well, it's still dark, but at least I'm sober). I really do have a LEGO slug friend called Snappy.

I know how you feel, they're screwing with my meds XD Actually it's somewhat true, I've been in a funk for at least a good 3-4 months and each day is a crapshoot.

Enjoy the highs... ride out the lows. Only advice I can give because it gets me thru.

Today when I wasn't nursing Sweety I got kinda bored, so I hunted down a list of the various Neopets avatars and went from having like a dozen to 98 (I got bored refreshing for some of the randomly-appearing ones ¬.¬) and then I got new personal high scores on Faerie Caves II and Snowmuncher and I've been adding rooms and furniture and plants to my Neohome and stalking the money tree and I really really really need a life. :(

I have quite a few avatars, but I haven't been real vigilant about getting most of the recent ones. I have an orange grundo for real on another account, so it's totally irritating that I can't have the avatar on my main account.

shhhhh! you don't need a life! you have an active online life! I totally have like 3.4 million neopoints at this point and another million in the stockmarket.

Ahaha, if only I could make money just by being online (and not in that tedious You Probably Won't Qualify For Surveys That Give Out Actual Money way) I would be set for life. As it is I've got a little over 29k neopoints (when the auction I've got going finishes it'll be 30k), which would probably be quite a bit more if I weren't throwing craploads into my neohome and furnishings and stuff. And I won last week's Lenny Conundrum, but not soon enough for a trophy. :(

Weirdest Christmas Ever in Wammy House.

So the weirdest Christmas ever was, actually, one of the few that were celebrated. When you've a bunch of genius kids and you're training them to - probably - be te replacement for the greatest detective that has ever lived, there's not much chance for those kids to be, you know, children. Even the youngest of them knew that 'Santa' was nothing but a ficticious leyend perpetuated by parents and comercial shops. The most festive it got was that the cook gave them gingerbread cookies and they got extra chocolate and Mello would spend most of the night trying to get as many extra chocolate pieces as he could (Near just left it on his place, because even if it was chocolate, Mello would never take it from him).

So, really, the weirdest Christmas ever was that time when Mr. Wammy came for a visit with L and Watari was wearing a red jacket with a red hat and he was carrying a huge bag, while L blinked, took Mello's chocolate from his hand, took a huge bite and then said a toneless 'Ho'.

At the moment, Near wondered which had caused the most shock; that Mello has been struck silent after that, or that he had just completely ruined his lego castle by giggling out loud, rolling over it.

aawww, ♥♥♥♥ L's "Ho" killed me. And Near! I didn't like him much at the beginning of his arc, but by the end he'd totally grown on me.
