A J-poll about J-pop

I'm making some cds to have at work, and rather than burning any album in particular, i thought it might be better to just make a cd full of songs I really like by each group.

Also, I think my one co-worker (or recent under the desk fame) might be susceptible to j-pop, and am probably going to make her a mix cd for her to try in the car.

so help a brother out:

Any other suggestions? I will probably have a j-rock mix cd, since groups like ONE OK ROCK don't have a full album yet, and I only like a few Orange Range songs, etc.

My recommendation for your co-worker's CD would be to take songs that show the variety that can be in j-pop. I would take a couple of the Enka-influenced Kanjani8 songs, a couple of slower ballads by the KinkiKids, a couple of songs by KAT-TUN and w-inds. that are more rock-infuenced and top it all off with a couple of bubblegum pop-songs from Arashi and/or NEWS. I would probably also put a couple of "bonus dork songs" on it, like K8's "Sukiyanen Osaka", with a short description of what the song is about...

Oh, and I would also put a description of the bands inside the CD cover.

ahahahahahah, thank you! that's a really well-thought out suggestion! She's kind of into the disney-pop scene (her daughters right at the age for that) so i was thinking i could hook her with the cheerful, bouncy stuff, arashi especially, but i'll dig around and see if i can get a good mix of stuff going.
