okay, whatever is up with this week really really needs to stop.

No news on the HSWTF/Y3 front, but the Johnny's web page updated to reflect the upcoming activities, and Ya-Ya-Yah is still listed as a group in the sidebar, so that's a good sign. However, there is also a rumor that Koyama and Nakamaru might be finishing up their tenure as SC hosts so that some HS folk can take over.

Not. Happy.

on the other hand, Geneon is going belly-up, with the immediate result that all projects they were working on are stopped dead. This, of course, means KKM, which is two dvds from the end. GRRRRR. Also Fate/Stay Night.

NOT HAPPY. V NOT HAPPY.

I want to write something, anything, emo or otherwise, but I feel like I just can't break out of my own grumpiness with everything. PMS did not used to last this long! motherfucker.

INORITE.

Seriously, I really upset. Because i preordered the season 1 boxset? But now, even assuming that that finishes production, the second set WON'T MATCH. if they ever even complete it.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

b-but

I mean, I haven't watched any KKM in a while, but the knowledge that I COULDN'T if I WANTED TO is...upsetting >->;;;;;
and the not-matching previous DVDs is a SERIOUS ISSUE >:

unrelated, have you seen/has anybody pimped persona 3 at you? Often, as we play it, we say "I bet mouse would love this."

Two from the end!!!!!1 SO DISTRESSING. MOUSES MUST HAVE MATCHFUL THINGS.

oh god, and they'll probably change the VAs and stuff too, which SUCKS, cause the KKM VAs are actually pretty good.

Nooooo, what's that about?

D: D: D: D: changing the VAs would be HORRIBLE. You'd be watching and then suddenly their voices would be different and..no. Just no good.

Well, it's an atlus game, so PART of the time it's about fighting demons to save the world (more specifically it's about repeatedly shooting yourself in the head to summon the manifestation of your broken psyche to aid you in fighting evil) (really)

but when you're NOT fighting evil (something you can only do during the late night) you're going to Japanese high school. And you have to study! To raise your academic score, and you go to the coffee house to raise your charm, and you sing karaoke to raise your courage, and you can join after school clubs and make friends and go on dates. And it's like a dating sim sometimes because you have to choose the answer that makes your friend most happy. And there are fabulous friends, like the captain of the sports team, and the music club boy, and the disciplinary committee boy, and the rival-school top athlete boy who sees you at nationals and decides you should be friends...

it's very charming and fun :))

Ugh. I hate when things don't match. Tokyo Pop went through a faze where they'd change the cover designs for all their titles a couple times a year, so that a bunch of my series are all fucked up, even though they're all first edition. Kare Kano has like four different color for the spine >___<3

気持ち悪い!
オレもノト・ハッピー

But, well, things change. *hums* Everything Zen ...

Hey, what's with that phrase "did not used to"? I've always wondered - is it some kind of, how-do-you-say-it, grammar-bending to give a certain ... colouring ...? connotation? ... to your statement?

Hey!Say!PMS also got me. ;_;

*pieces together the minimal japanese* you're telling me to cheer up, be happy, right? I got so much better with the kana in Japan, i used to have to look up everything all the time.

"didn't used to"...i guess it's a central pennsylvanian phrase? because I didn't even think about it till you said something. I guess it's the same as saying "used to not"? is that correct either? or "never used to"? Lol, it sounds totally normal to me! like "The washing machine didn't used to make that noise, so now i have to call a repair man."

It's like saying "a whole nother", as in "well, that's a whole nother story", or "awhile" to mean "in the meantime", like the waitress says to you "go ahead and take a minute, I'll get you your drinks awhile."

Central Pennsylvanians say just crazy things that we don't think are weird at all, but when i went to college people would be like "omg you're speaking english except it's totally not."

Actually I just agreed that it's a bad feeling and I'm not happy as well :D
But I certainly meant to cheer you up :D

"didn't use to" = "didn't before, does now"
"didn't used" is a double past tense, or however it's called in English. It's a phenomenon I know of both colloquial English as well as colloquial German, and usually the speaker doesn't even realize their use of past tense is redundant. :D
If I hear or read a phrase like that, I assume it's used with a hint of irony.
-Guess it's just part of the flexible grammar of American English. xD

i always forget that 'mo' can make things negative too. gah!

that makes sense, since central Pennsylvanian=pennsylvanian dutch=german. it's a lot of why we say weird things.

Argh. I haven't been following KKM, but I have watched the first... I don't know. Billion episodes or something?

I think it was up near 60 when I stopped? Because the rest weren't out. I haven't picked it up again, but I keep meaning to. ARGH.
