An Update To Yesterday's Frustrating Neopets Post

I figured it out, only it doesn't help at all.

All the symbols are really numbers 0-5. So, adding V+V+V+V=V told me V=0, and then I used process of elimination and algebra to work out the rest of them. for me V=0, X=1, Z=2, P=3, 8=4, C=5. If you add two numbers and get an answer larger than 5, you get zero. so, C+C=V (5+5=0), and C+C+X=X (0+1=1).

so i get all the following on the puzzled i capped yesterday:
