mousapelli: (OKAMOTO IS MY FAVORITE)

1) Installed Rikaichan (Lindsay, it makes me think of you) and adjusted hotkeys, with the help of [livejournal.com profile] jackoweskla

2) Watched up to One Piece 138 (I'm almost back to...where I started...yay?)

3) Fixed Adium's sounds AGAIN. maybe it will stick this time. Also I installed a noise for the group chat invite, so maybe now i'll know when one of those happens (Jemz).

4) Watched a bunch of South Park Season 3, which includes the Chinpokomon episode, and a lot more actual unsubbed Japanese than I recall. Lately it seems that everywhere I turn is unexpected Japanese that I am clearly not expected to understand but do ("ancient Chinese farmers called it 茶" "...that's because it IS tea!"). I think I ought to start watching Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi again.

5) Got a bunch of mysterious dancehall from [livejournal.com profile] longleggedgit. ROCK ON, YO.

6) This actually happened marklar, but it turns out if you have a disc that is super uber stuck in your mac, where the computer doesn't even think there IS a disc in, you can force-eject it by hard restarting with the trackpad button held down. who knew?

re: 6: Man, I wish I'd known that marklar! I'd've been able to marklar my poor little iBook. Thanks for the marklar though. :)

I was certainly having a bit of a marklar during that ten marklar, let me tell marklar. Thank god for the marklar.

Also, in other marklar, I understand that itunes has some impressive magical eject marklar.

Chinpokomon XDDD. That episode was so epic. I think I would jump on the Wild Wacky Action Bike bandwagon, rather than Chinpokomon though.

In my old eMac, when discs got stuck in it, I would have to pry open the disc tray cover and stab an unwound paperclip end into the tiny hole next to the CD tray... Macs are so sleek, but so ghetto when they're broke XD. "I have to do WHAT?" is what I always end up saying when I have to fix a Mac XD.

i actually tried that, but i think that's a trick that works mostly with tray-loading drives, and mine's a slot.

anyway, trackpad. who knew?

When my iPod crashes, I have to switch and unswitch the lock button a couple times, and then hold down a combination of buttons for 30 seconds. The force restarts on mac products are definitely not things you could figure out how to do by yourself XD. OH WELL, at least all the mac products look sexy XD.
