I was working my way back through the big dated fic list again, and YE GODS I write too much. I'm back at like Sept of 2005, but it's just endless, and lord knows I'm probably missing all sorts of stuff that wasn't posted on my regular journal but in a comm or something.

I had brief fantasies of just continuing through all the stuff that's memoried anyway once I got there, for the sake of completeness, but then I came to my senses. What moron decided it was a good idea for me to not repost Remix fics and Fest fics on my own journal? so much fail. sweet jesus.

And for those of you who know my penchant for talking in movie and TV quotes, I give to you a moment from my father's night job at the newspaper sports department:

TV: *plays Michael Phelps*
Co-worker: "STROKE! STROKE! STROKE!"
Dad: "Bail! Bail! Bail!"

I actually am anti-tag. because you can only have like 100 of any one thing, which means having a fic tag is out. And as you can see from the welter of tags in the memories, even tagging by fandom or rating or pairing just turns into a snarl of like two thousand tags when you write like I do.

I bet Lex Luthor doesn't have to put up with this. He just tells some guy to fix it and WHAMMO. updated website.

Mmm, I never noticed the tag issue. I wonder why lj maintance hasn't done anything about it, they're usually really good with this stuff. I remember reading a fic of yours in 2007 and trying to find other fics, only to realize that there were no tags D: And that was before The Big Dated Fic List. What was a lurker to do? XD

Go to the website (http://www.theratbox.com/fanfiction.html)? ;) Everything's sorted by fandom there, so it's actually a lot easier.

This year I haven't been keeping up with it, because I know I have to overhaul my whole system and there's no point in coding a bunch of pages that will be useless immediately, but it's updated through new years of this year, so it would have done you good at that point.

A) I love that you have a big dated fic list, even though I am intensely depressed by the ONLY TWO YGO FICS THERE especially when I binged at your mainsite already today. This is what I get for reentering my old dead fandoms. My lazy whore self didn't bother looking for the ones I was reading here on LJ to leave comments, but I have to say, even in the older ones where you used the English names? I love them. And I'm normally so utterly opposed to any English terms that I can't sit through things. (I-in my defense, it's just really hard to take Tea Gardener seriously.)

B) I'M GONNA GO BINGE ON YOUR FICS AGAIN NOW OKAY? OKAY. Go write more shit woman, you are my cracksource. And by more shit, I mean more epic. (Haaay I see room for some Yuugi molesting in one of your fics, when's that trick-or-treat thing again? I love me some Yuugi sandwiches... I'd draw so much o' that. XD)
