Two My Scene Barbie boy dolls (River and Hudson): $20
Black sweatshirt at Walmart: $2
Two small stencil brushes and brown enamel paint: $3
Buttons, jewelry clasps, and lion stickers: $5

Being the biggest tool in fandom, but owning fully posable Sirius and Remus action figures:

Priceless.

This is how I spent my entire Saturday afternoon. You're jealous, admit it. Here's a closeup of the robe clasps and gryffindor badges. Yes, that is a Prefect's pin on Remus. Sirius came with a leather jacket, guitar, and a faux leather studded wrist band, by the way.

While I'm doing a photo update, here is the dog up the street from me who I always think of as Padfoot. Rumor has it that he was put in the pound for eating a smaller dog. haha, that's a good boy.

Hee! Those most certainly are Sirius and Remus! And if Sirius came with an electric guitar there's no denying it. These are fabulous!

that's what I'm saying. I wonder if they make a motorcycle for these guys? There needs to be a motorbike like nothing else.

I mean, why would they name the dolls 'Hudson' and 'River' if they weren't supposed to go together?

Ah! Those are awesome! Now... do they have a Dream House?

Yes, but they often don't quite make it inside and shag on the Dream Font Porch.

thanks :)

hurrah! that's fabulous! too bad Matel don't do werewolves; im sure they could do a better version than that in the movies or lego, for that matter. *growls*

I wish Matel had a secret underground version of barbie where all live in the world of dildos and strap ons and what not. i can just imagine little betsy saying, "no, ginny, *you* wear the strap on tonight!"

Mmm, I don't know, I seem to recall the Barbie Scully and Ken Mulder not exactly being the dolls of my dreams. It would be hot if they tried though. I bet they'd do James and Lily in a hot second.

Ha, that's what ebay's for. Somebody's done it, believe you me.

I am - I'm very, very jealous! The details are terrific - what did you use for the Prefect's badge? You're an inspiration!

thank you! The Gryffindor badges were little heart appliques; I scalloped the top so it looked like a crest instead. The lions are just from a jungle sticker set, I cut the body off and stuck it right on there.

The prefect's badge is a random button that was the right sort of tarnished-gold and happened to have a little crest on it. I didn't try to stick a P on it, cause I thought it looked cool enough that way.

Love the action figures! They look great, and I'm sort of illogically pleased that they're apparently X-Men fans.

Your neighbor-dog is an impressive beast.

haha, glad you enjoyed the accidental peek into my room. I should've done that 'what's on my desk' meme, only it would've taken forever because of all the crap laying around.

Oh, he is indeed. He could totally hop that fence too.

That's impressive. I wanted to do that a few months back with the Bratz Boyz dolls. One of them comes with a motorbike and looks exactly like Sirius.

omg, is there one with a motorbike? I was clearly just saying that's what the boys need. *scurries off to look at toysruscom*

Hahahaha! Oh God, that's insane. Seriously, I'm drinking coffee and I just spit a little of it out. That's killer funny.

Good thing they make Ken dolls so gay, yes?

...You should make a whole Marauder-era set next. Peter and James, Lily, Lucius and Snape. Ahh.

heh heh, we're going to pretend I didn't have a fantasy about doing exactly that...

...although, I'm now hunting around ebay for the Bratz motorcycle, because CLEARLY a motorbike is necessary, and it comes with a guy who is suspiciously James-esque...
