I did not at all manage to hatch a shiny relicanth, just so you know how that all turned out, but I hatched seriously 1k eggs, so I got a legendary voucher for my trouble, which is as good as it was going to get because now at long last I can have my articuno.

school tomorrow is going to blow because i am staying up while Rachel reads her fic, but at least there's supposed to be a crapton of snow Tues/Wed, so there's a chance I'll get to stay nice and warm right here in my bed. mmmm unseasonable amounts of snow.

Statistically I should have ended up with 3 1/3 shinies, but the prize for doing it, it turns out was a legendary voucher plus, which was only different from mine in that you could have used it for one of the new black/white legendaries. And since I was going to use it for an articuno regardless, it really didn't matter that much.

on the other hand, 500+ eggs was all the same prize, so if i had known that i would have spent the multiplier hatching tentacool eggs like I wanted to in the first place. Fail.
