why yes i am growing grass

mousapelliI have achieved grass!!
I planted a bunch in a window box to grow for the guinea pigs and today there are little tiny green things. hooray! nothing else is sprouting yet, which isn't surprising since grass is definitely fastest, but I'll keep watching.
also i am skipping the gym because i apparently fucked up my neck doing nothing yesterday, and tomorrow i'm supposed to go out walking/hiking with Special Ed Teacher Friend, who is a crazy runner. all of my students were bouncing off the fucking walls today, and then i had department meeting, who I brought cake for, not that even that appeased some of them.
new nails turned out pretty nice:
it's ORLY's Lunar Eclipse, which is a bit pricey for me usually, but i had an big CVS coupon from my birthday. There's purple highlights in it and it's glittery, it's a pretty nice color.

Even if I did something neat on my right hand, my left hand would definitely turn out effed up... (seeing as I'm left handed)

Date: 2011-05-04 10:52 pm (UTC)I can usually tell the difference between the right and left hand (like this time the lines are way thicker cause there was some drama with the striping brush), but I don't do anything so complicated as to make it unmanageable. Even with my wrong hand I can usually do stripes. it just takes practice!

It's pretty interesting because letters sometimes end up backwards and it looks like a 4 year-old wrote them... >.>
It's pretty sad actually...
I want to write japanese with my right hand because kanji is not made for the left hand... D:
Maybe after I can do that I'll try fancy things on my nails that people can see. XD

(Yes, I suppose the g-pigs might like. but grass!!)
