I posted about Big Time Rush's new MV before I left, but apparently LJ decided nobody need to hear about it, since it posted a blank entry for no reason. wtf. All I said was that Worldwide is my favorite song from the album and I think they did a great job with it given that it's a ballad instead of their usual dance-pop MV material, and I was also really glad they used Jo (Kendall's gf in the tv show) as the girl in the MV. It's really a sweet song, and I like their outfits a lot. Kendall at the very end ;___; ♥
So then I let people talk me into seeing Bridesmaids, which,
musesfool mentioned caused her a little bit of embarrassment squick, but I will upgrade that to, if you have any sort of embarrassment squick, don't go see this.
or maybe just don't go see it because I thought it was entirely awful. I mean, admittedly I really do not enjoy girl movies esp when weddings are involved, but this was like everything I hate about girl wedding movies crossed with everything I hate about low-brow guy movies (sex scenes that are awkwardly long or weird, vomiting). It was just terribly long and painful, I thought. I'll keep this in mind next time some girl movie comes back into rotation, even if the preview makes it look doable, because I sure learned my lesson this time.
Did go sneaker shopping, as i attempted to say in my earlier post, and ended up with a second pair of good sneakers for the gym, and also some green/blue plaid low converses that I'm pretty pleased about. And then we blew $100 at Old Navy, which always happens when I go there with my mother. oops. Some of that was Father's Day presents, though.
and then i wrote zero percent of my FQF. sigh.

Date: 2011-06-18 04:28 am (UTC)i mean, maybe it's that my own childhood super tight best friendship already imploded in fantastic prof x/magneto fashion and also that i'm batting zero for real life romantic comedy [or not comedy, or anything], but it's just not the sort of thing i want to watch.
also i felt like every single scene went like five minutes too long. and ps girl movie should = no vomiting, thanks.
