now i have 2 water bottles of dead gnats and still no iphone. sadface D: apparently my options are put down $300 for one or wait until mid-november, neither of which I find terribly desirable. i just want a new toy like my cool friends D: D: D: actually something even seems to be up with AT&T's website so I can't even stare longingly at the iphone right now.
so i paid my credit card instead. that wasn't as fun as oogling iphones.
the tv just seriously put up an ad right this second about upgrading to an iphone. *cries* i want to but you won't let me! thanks also for that text message telling me to upgrade, AT&T. that's super classy of you.
I just finished reading Catching Fire, which is unfortunate because I haven't bought the third book yet, but that's probably best cause the other thing I haven't done is finish my FQF fic which I had to beg for an extension for like a tool because i made it up to 4k without any porn yet. I have to say though that the book was the best thing that happened today by a long shot.
oh well. done with training! Totally off tomorrow!

Date: 2011-06-22 04:20 am (UTC)idek. honestly i didn't feel the burning need to own an iphone or a smartphone of any kind until like everybody around me started having one. i still think me having the internet constantly is a terrible idea.
i'm halfway through season 3 and it's okay I guess. i really just can't get too attached because they keep switching out all the important people all the time. i understand that's how the franchise works, it just means that i'm probably not going to bond with it that deeply in the end. also david tennet is still like that guy down the hall in college who goes on crazy adventures in the middle of the night, which is fine I suppose, but when he tries to make the long-suffering i'm the last of the timelords face, i'm just like, god, what are you, 22? i think the daleks are the best part of the whole thing.

Date: 2011-06-22 04:37 am (UTC)Maybe the site will be up by the end of the week.
hahahaha! Matt Smith, who plays Eleven, is even younger, but somehow he manages to look like an old man in a young man's body, much more so than David. Still, I loved David and his glasses and his licky tongue. I loved Martha, but season three was my least favorite, except for Blink, which I love to pieces, and ironically, it's the Doctor-Companion lite episode. And John Simm, when you get to him, is pretty awesome (in that "OMG he's awesomely insane!" way), too. But yeah, David has this whole "Lonely God" thing going, and it gets a bit tiresome at times. Still, there are lots of fun adventures. And Donna is awesome! (And so is her grandfather!)
Daleks! The most fearsome creatures in the universe, and they have a toilet plunger for a right appendage, and an egg beater/mixer for the left. It still kills me! (Even though the mixer thingy can shoot death rays and the plunger can suck-squash you. :-P)
