I Am a Weasel

Today is my last official day of summer, which I guess explains why the anxiety dreams have started up already D: Last night i had the one where I turned up at school in my underwear, idek. i've also got a couple voicemails from another teacher about carpooling tomorrow which I am ignoring like a complete weasel. speaking of weasels, I got word that we all have to reapply for dept chair positions, except nobody was told that directly, admin just put the positions all up as available on the website. whaaaaaaaat.

so i guess I should be doing something exciting on my last day of freedom, but really I'm just moping on my couch. uuuuuuuuuuurgh.

I did finally put all of About Face into a Word file, which sounds like doing nothing, but is the first step to editing and it is kind of a pain in the ass to do all the formatting and font-fixing and all that. Taking out all the hard returns will give me something mindless to do over the next couple days too.

D: D: D: who even has the underwear at school dream, seriously.

I think that's something that pops up...on the odd occasion.

So, if people have to reapply, does that mean you can get out of being the Latin chair spot?

Foreign Language chair, and i suppose it's possible, but if somebody from one of the other buildings gets it, I'll be in exactly the same spot I was before, which was that the principal made me do all the in-building stuff just because he knew that I would get it done. That's the only reason I applied for it in the first place. At least this way I was getting paid for it (sort of).

I rarely have the underwear dream, but I do get the "show up for a final of a class that you didn't realize you were enrolled in, and therefore you fail" dream ALL THE TIME.
