At the Lancaster Apple store, where they indeed diagnosed my power cord as bad and I had to drop $65 on that (thanks, year of the dragon, no lie 'unexpected expenses'). The guy was nice and also was puzzled by how my cord had turned sort of twisty and pink, so nice to know that I wasn't the only one confused by that. He ran a diagnostic on my laptop as well, which passed all of its tests except for battery, and Shoon in generally seems to be standing up pretty well to my constant abuse of him.

Maybe it's because he likes it when I take him home to Japan once a year or so.

Anyhow, now I have two hours to kill in Lancaster until I have to be in Hershey at noon, so I guess I might tool around the mall or something for a bit. Seems like too much work to go down to the outlets or anything. I thought there used to be a bubble tea place in here...?

Hope the rest of you got to sleep in on your Saturday, at least.
