SYWTTYARB, Director's Cut
Jun. 19th, 2004 11:43 amWell, SYWTTYARB won the commentary poll by a landslide, so here you guys go. It was way too much hassle to put this whole thing in a post and then put in all the italics and stuff, so you'll have to frequent it via my website, but i fully expect you to come right back here and comment squeefully.
so here you go.

Date: 2004-06-19 11:07 am (UTC)Jesus! When I first read about the Neverfull, the first thing I thought to myself was 'Ah! Bad of Holding! Wonder if she plays?' And then I thought 'Nah, it's probably just a coincidence.' Man! So cool to find out I was wrong! Your cool people score just shot up for me!
Also, GUH for having your crush wrapped around you to teach you guitar.
Ditto. Sosomuch. This scene had me...well, let's just say, Remus wasn't the only one in a state.
"girls are like art, you look at art, but boys are built like trucks and you RIDE trucks!"
...*DEAD*
Sirius trying so hard to show this gut-wrenching emotion musically and falling short, and Remus stepping in and saying "you make my heart go like this"
That scene. My god, that scene. Of the entire story, it's the most vivid part in my mind and it's the one that inspired me to draw that picture. [which is on the way. I finally inked it and now it just needs to be coloured.]
I HEART JAMES.
*DEAD. Again.*
And frustrating, because it's so cool in my head and not so much on paper (er, screen).
Lies! All lies! *cough* I mean. It's a fantastic song. You're your own worse critic so, yeah. It really rocks.
I've been drawn some really gorgeous fanart by Olukemi and Blackrogue for this scene.
....*blinkblink*.......*speechless*
Ah Dumbledore. Always good for a cheap laugh and a bad acid trip.
I keep telling people! That twinkle in his eyes comes from snorting the floo powder.
Sirius will happily keep at it until he wears Remus down.
Amen, and more power to him. And this whole thing was excellent and informative and just an excuse for me to read your fic for a fourth time. XD Thanks for writing this!
PS.I'm curious about Fairy Boys now. Do you know where I could find it?

Date: 2004-06-19 11:56 am (UTC)yup, although I'm not very good and I prefer roleplaying over LJ, easier to be in character. I also dated a boy who was the gaming king, so i know a lot about random gaming stuff that i've never actually done.
[which is on the way. I finally inked it and now it just needs to be coloured.]
SQUEE! I can't wait to see! I actually want to update the look of my journal cause it sucks, and I was wondering if I could use some of that in the layout? Even the line drawing is so pretty.
As for Fairy Boys, the full listing of episodes is on The info page of B's journal (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=auburn_crimson). The epilouge just went up so it's all finished now. That journal also has a bunch of related drabbles that are fun to read.
If you want to see the continuing adventures, you can poke around

Date: 2004-06-19 12:14 pm (UTC)Same here. I like to play D&D but I'm just crap at figuring out all the numbers and stats and keeping track of stuff like that. LJ rping is definitely easier on my poor brain. Except that one time when I had 11 chracters in four differnet games at one time. >_< Never. Again.
I was wondering if I could use some of that in the layout?
I would be insanely pleased if you did!
That journal also has a bunch of related drabbles that are fun to read.
Oh my god, I'm having heart palpitations over here. *breaks out VG soundtrack to read along with* I'll definitely be shecking out the glitterverse.

LOVED the director's cut--especially the remarks about me! *g* But I remember trying to get you to change your ass to arse, and you REFUSED. You were like, NO I WON'T YOU AND CAN'T MAKE ME NAH NAH NAH. Well. Kind of like that. ;)
I HEART JAMES --> Cracked my shit up, man. I laughed myself sick on this, I hope you should know. Yay!

Date: 2004-06-28 08:35 pm (UTC)The "da dum da dum da dum BONG" bit cracked me up.
Of course, the rest of it was brilliant as well.
