The big question of the week

okay, here's the question of the week. I have a full week of downtime before classes start with nothing planned, and no job as of yet to hinder me.

The Inuyasha movie is being screened Thursday night in NYC. i'm dying to see it and it's free, but there's no way to reserve tickets to it (and also there seems to be some confusion about the date, but this is the one that the Viz site has), so I run the risk of getting the whole way there and not seeing it anyway.

OTOH, I could be seeing meupatdoes and musesfool while in NYC, and I could actually stay with Christina so I wouldn't have to do the driving all in one day. So it's not like a wasted effort even if i don't see the movie

OTOOH, the trip is something like 5 hours from here. when the trip was three hours, i'd've done this in a heartbeat, but 10-11 hours roundtrip is on the verge of too much.

so, here is a poll. decide my future, please.

well, it is the same trip, either i'm in NYC or i'm not. I was just giving people two options for why I might do it.

I've noticed that a lot of people on my Flist are a little WTF about Inuyasha.

it's the first one, Affections Across Time. Not the one where they kiss, unfortunately, but that one should be out before christmas *squee*

I just saw Yu-Gi-Oh! too, i'm turning into a little anime freak.

Anime gooood. Sadly, all I've got available at the moment are a couple of episodes of Saiyuki Reload and all of Witch Hunter Robin (all fansubs). Oh, and scanlations not quite out the yin-yang.

Chinese moth demons are always fun, of course, just not as fun as kissing. Chriiiiistmaaaaas... which is about the time the fourth movie should be coming out in Japan, I believe. *boogies*

Totally unrelated, oh ratty one. I got two female baby rats last night. Do they ever slow down as they get older? *Boggles at their speed and jumping capabilities* They can hop out of the aquarium when the lid is off!

Oh, and should I be totally freaked out by occasional sneezing with no other symptoms? I heard dry air can cause that.

They will be a bit less hyper once they grow up, but female rats in general tend to be more worked up than males. my brother's little female has a wire cage, and she crawls all over the bars like Spiderman.

Nah, don't worry about the sneezing if it's just once in a while and it doesn't seem to bother them. People sneeze for no good reason sometimes too. Mulciber sneezed a lot when we were in the dorm (i think he was allergic to something) but barely does it at all here in Vermont.

What color are the ratties and what did you name them?

They're black and white with similar markings. They're still very small. Oh good, I was freaking out about the sneezing.
