I drink this tea/juice the brandname of which is "Fuze." Because I have watched c. 8 BILLION HOURS of anime and other japanese things, and also because it lives next to other oriental diet juice miracle things in the grocery store, I have been pronouncing it "Foo-zeh."

So i took the lid off mine today, and i noticed under the cap, it said "The FUZE has been LIT!"

I sat there, for seriously a full thirty seconds, saying out loud, "The foo-zeh has been lit? what the hell does that mean?"

and then SUDDENLY IT DAWNED ON ME that the tea/juice is actually pronounced "FUSE" because it is short for "INFUSION."

I am such, such a loser.

I totally thought it was Foo-ze, too. I thought it was an asian import of some kind.

I used to drink the "healthy" drinks infused with cactus and whatnot, but I started reading the labels and realised the first ingredient was always high-fructose corn syrup. I haven't tried Fuze, though. What's it got in it?

RELATEDLY, I read your icon and for a second interpreted it as someone's self-discovery, through alcohol, that their place in life is in graduate studies, rather than "Well, what did you expect, I AM a grad student, after all."

Filtered water is the first thing, then pineapple juice in this flavor, and a bunch of other stuff. Apparently Super Citromax! is also involved, whatever the hell that means. The grocery store has a few flavors for cheap, so i keep buying the kind that have only 10 calories in the bottle. My favorites are Raspberry/Cranberry, Fruit Punch, and Watermelon (which looks like it should be disgustingly sweet but is actually really good).

Sometimes in convenience stores around here, I see Dragonfruit Lime flavor, and that is my absolute favorite one.

LOL. That's the best interpretation of my icon ever. It started out as "hey, i'm a dork for learning" but now I find that i'm using it more often for the second one you mentioned...

One time I was taking a shower, and I noted that my shampoo claimed to protect against breakage. For all of ten seconds, I was like, "holy shit, my shampoo protects against the Brea-kah-geh! But who is he?"

That is the funniest thing, like, ever. EVER. Whoa. I want a shirt or a wristband or something that says "the foo-zeh has been lit!" I laughed for five minutes straight, though the hilarity may be due to the late hour... I'm sure I'll still laugh after I've slept. Ohmygod.

yay! I'm glad it found you! Yup, I crocheted it, it's called an Irish Rose. I think you're supposed to stick them to things, but i just like making them ^_^

I left the strings on so you could tie it to stuff, but if you were going to pin it or something, you could cut them off without hurting it. ♥♥♥
